With bold vision and focus on innovation, clean energy, and technological sovereignty, the company accelerates the Brazilian digital revolution
RT-One, an American technology company with a global presence, announced today the raising of R$ 15 billion (approximately US$ 3 billion) to build the largest data centers dedicated to Artificial Intelligence in Latin America. The planned projects include a mega-campus in Uberlândia (MG), a second center in the state of Paranå, and a third location under evaluation.
The investment aims to position Brazil as a hub for AI processing and high-density computing, offering the global market a âfriendly-shoreâ alternative â with renewable energy infrastructure, advanced security, and international standards of availability and energy efficiency.
The project is led by a group of strategic industrial partners who, in addition to capital, are contributing engineering, services, technology, and the supply of essential equipment. This configuration reinforces that the investment goes beyond capital: it is a strategic articulation that brings together some of the most relevant names in the global energy, digital infrastructure, and high-performance computing chain.
âThis is more than an investment; it is the validation of a vision. RT-One is committed to building the new digital infrastructure of Brazil and the world, with focus, technology, and strategic alliances,â emphasizes Fernando Palamone, CEO of RT-One.
The first campus in Uberlândia has contracted 100 MW in the initial phase. Combined with the data center in Paranå, the initial aggregated capacity reaches up to 200 MW, with a modular architecture that allows each campus to scale to over 400 MW.
Construction is expected to begin in the coming months, with the first operational delivery scheduled for 2026.
These projects strengthen the Brazilian digital ecosystem and expand the supply of critical infrastructure, transforming the installation sites into attraction hubs for AI, HPC (high-performance computing), cybersecurity, and cloud services, reinforcing the offering of Sovereign Cloud and Secure AI solutions for clients in Latin America and abroad.
Alliance of giants supports RT-One's vision
The investment is led by Hitachi Energy, a global technology company and world leader in transmission, distribution, and intelligent energy management solutions â which will also provide high-power electrical systems, responsible for the high-voltage substations that will safely and reliably supply hundreds of megawatts to the data center.
Hitachi, bringing its entire portfolio of high-voltage and automation systems, is an essential partner for the development of energy infrastructure aimed at large-scale data centers. The company will also provide its engineering team and will build with the entire high-voltage structure according to the modular expansion of RT-One's state-of-the-art data center campus, each already aiming for scalability of operational capacity exceeding 400 MW.
Himoinsa will contribute a wide range of products, from mobile lighting/power towers and generators to storage systems (BESS) with remote monitoring. In addition, it invests in engineering capacity and experience in installation and maintenance.
The company is part of the Yanmar group and is a strategic partner for mission-critical operations such as data centers, where reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of power supply are essential.
MaisEnergia specializes in complete energy solutions for large-scale projects in Brazil. With operations in energy infrastructure, generation, and energy efficiency sectors, the company brings technical expertise, operational solidity, and investment capacity.
In addition to the already identified companies, other groups are also participating in the project, working in financing industrial projects, enabling large-scale enterprises, energy and infrastructure sectors, as well as in risk mitigation and raising long-term investments.
Next steps
The first mega campus, located in Uberlândia, will have 100 MW in its initial phase, promising a very short power scaling period. The construction phase is expected to begin in the coming months, with the first operational delivery scheduled for 2026. Meanwhile, RT-One is already conducting studies for the third campus that will further expand the available capacity, with the support of its ecosystem of industrial and technological partnerships.
The goal is clear: to build the largest AI infrastructure platform in the southern hemisphere, with international standards of energy efficiency, sovereign security, and high performance, meeting the growing demand from Latin America and the global market.
